I agree with Denise and Jill. Integrity and work ethic are skills to be nurtured in ourselves as well as our students. Bringing the best of ourselves to work/school each day inspires those traits and skills in our students.
Many people naturally have soft skills more developed than hard skills, but others seem to have the technical aspects down pat but struggle with the soft skills. Since I am teaching in a technical field, perhaps too much emphasis might be on the technique, and this course helped me to focus more of my attention on the soft skills.
