I like the idea of cueing and preparing students ahead of time so that they know when you will call on them in class. 

I was interested in how most workplace setting will not provide modifications for their employees and it made me think about what can be done to better help these learners as they transition from school to work. 

I am looking forward to reading about how teachers can help students who have these learning disabilities.  

I have always been fascinated by how people learn to read and this section really helped me understand more. 

It is important to understand how to better engage students from different generation cohorts. Understanding their learning preferences will allow us to understand how to keep them engaged in the classroom.

 

Technology can be a really important tool we can utilize in the classroom. In addition to that, it helps students prepare for the reality of the work environment which is highly technological based. However, we must take in consideration if our students have any technological challenges and have available resources to support them.

 

Each cohort has different preferences in their learning styles. Our lessons should be planned based on the students in the classrooms and we must consider how they learn.

 

I learned the differences in how different generations learn. As an instructor it is important to understand these differences in order to adjust our teaching techniques to support the different types of learners.

 

I have always relied on learning preferences to help understand how all of the students in my classes learn best.  It is a very useful tool. 

Allowing a student to access their Mother Tongue to help in their learning is so important!
