There are several different types of e-learners. In my experience, this is true, especially if we as instructors are present in the classroom. E-learners behavior similarly such in traditional settings and should be handled with institutional policies and procedures to remove conflicts.

I think it is important o encourage confidence through grading feedback as well as suggesting constructive elements. This is a good way o encourage more participation in the future. For example, if the student was only given negative remarks, it could eliminate the confidence to continue the effort.
