Dyana, Readiness for the work setting is a hoped for goal. And I think that also includes soft skills such as good writing and communication, professionalism, dress and grooming,and a positive attitude. These attributes are not always included in the curriculum but still are needed for success in the workplace. Barry Westling

Dyana, Right. Students will often emulate the (positive) traits they see their instructor demonstrating. This is also true for undesirable traits (language, promptness, dress and grooming), for example. Barry Westling

David, It's true, linkining with another instructor or class when it is known that an interesting or informative speaker may be visiting is a terrific method to share resources. Also, asking past graduates to be guest speakers can be a an abundant resource. Barry Westling
