Joseph, I would like to address your statement regarding knowing what motivates the students. In any type of management position, including the classroom, requires analyzing the needs of those you serve. Bravo! You are definitely on track. Cindy Bryant

Joseph, As a new employee I am sure that you are in information overload. You are right to access your HR documents often but I would encourage you to spend a lot of time with your college's catalog. As long as you stay close to the catalog you can't go wrong. Cindy Bryant

Gregory, Thank you for sharing your point of view on student complaints. I completely agree with your assessment. Cindy Bryant

Floyd, You make an excellent point, we would hope that education is always the answer but the reality is that some people aren't financially ready to make a decision about education. The basic needs must be met before they can move forward to the next level. Cindy Bryant

Michael, Sometimes the media can be very confusing to the typical viewer. We have to consider that media can be reported in such a fashion that the viewer becomes "hyped" or enthralled in the reporting. Sometimes we need to process the incidents using our best judgement. Cindy Bryant
Sherral, You seem to be quite confident that Program Integrity has not impacted your college, have you given thought to the fact that PI has changed the enrollment processes? With such changes has the quality of the student changed? Cindy Bryant

Ronald, Students are fearful to complain due to the fact that the instructor wields power over their grades. Having an opportunity to report concerns anonymously can be a positive or a negative. It is important that the person fielding the complaints is able to validate that it is realistic. Cindy Bryant
Kirk, Yes, there are rules regarding auto-dialers which are not allowed to be used on cell phones. This may be due to the fact that minutes are measured and have a cost associated with them. Cindy Bryant
Zachary, Welcome to the forum! Thanks for bringing up the use of auto-dialers with cell phones. Cindy Bryant

Braden, New employees need to be trained extensively regarding what they can and cannot say to students. It is always good for employees to be consistent in their response. Cindy Bryant
