On-line learning requires technology support and the instructor must know the tools chosen to support the course work.  Also, the students must be provided a clear understaning of the tools that will be used within the course.

Assessment in key with course improvement and development for teaching as well as learning.  I will incorporate peer feedback into my assessments.

I will continue to use rubrics within my curriculum of grading, but I will improve the student's access to it.  I like the idea.

Assessment is key to improved learning and I will now add peer-assessment.

Within our technology era, communication covers a vast allotement of possibilities.  As a teacher, it is my responsibility to guide the on-line learner to use the proper guidelines of instruction within their choice of communication effectively. 

Having a dynamic and changing syllabus will help to create a better learning environment.

I hope to be able to incorporate all of these tasks!

Whether learning in a traditional classroom setting or e-learning, student personalities will come through.  By identifying those that may hinder the teaching process will help to keep the learning process moving forward for all.  Also, knowing to refer to the institutional code will help to keep those more challenging students on tract.

A teacher is a catalyst in discussion forums.  Both synchronous and asynchronous meetings are important is student learning, but asynchronous is more effective in online learning.

The idea of knowing the student's bio and the students having knowledge of the teacher's bio is a good teaching mechanism for professional confidences.

Consistency to modules with ongoing reviews is beneficial to student learning as well as with teaching improvements. 

Having a database to use for "chunk" style learning is a great time saver!

I learned that online teaching techniques should follow a tranparent format for best student learning means.  Although teaching strategies do vary, the delivery with online teaching should be consistent.  Also, knowing the essential tech support will by key in reducing learning frustrations.
