ZULFIKARALI, You have a very structured assessment process. Of course, the nature of the subject probably dictates this level of detail. Where does the subjectivity come into play? Having to meet the needs of a governing body and weekly records would seem to remove or reduce subjectivity as part of the assessment process. Dr. Ron Hansen
Steven, Students checking other student work reinforces the learning. Dr. Ron Hansen
Darlisa, Does the clinical coordinator provide an assessment to the student? Dr. Ron Hansen
Steven, Obviously the machine tests are based on skills and competencies related to tasks students would perform on the job. Having the students explain what they write reinforces what they have learned. Dr. Ron Hansen
Steven, This process certainly addresses the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains. Thank you for your post. Dr. Ron Hansen

Dorothy, And you probably can offer food made by students at some of these events. Thank you for your post. Dr. Ron Hansen
Rodney, Thank you for your post. Adding a mentoring program or coaching people to be mentors will be beneficial. Dr. Ron Hansen
Dorothy, I find day long orientation events often dedicate a significant part of the day to administration and presenting of rules and policies. "Day in the Life" exposure is very positive. This can be accomplished with current students, recent graduates, and instructors coming into orientation and talking with students about the learning experience. Dr. Ron Hansen
Rodney, What you have added to your class that is more akin to orientation than subject matter should be shared with others. You would probably find that other faculty would benefit from providing similar information to their students. Dr. Ron Hansen
