Jonathan, I found your answer most interesting. I have researched your references and have seen you are aware of some great techniques. The Yoga techniques have grown to great favor in the United States. We are talking about how to improve your respiratory system and immune system. Your devotion and dedication to the stress relief challenge is commendable. Great work! Dr. Gary Carlson
Brian, This can be annoyig but patience and still standing strong on your beliefs make your mentorship to them and others even stronger. We need to still show interest in each other but we need to be understood with your strong prinicpals and actions. If they know you better who you are and represent they become a better listener. I can identify with your frustrations but be more controlled of yourself and in time these people may change their ways. If not you maintain a higher quality of values and integrity. Dr. Gary Carlson
Phyllis, Great advise for your students. Expected and unexpected stress are definitely two different situations. We need to always consider how we deal with both. When we have a situation where we experience trauma, loss of someone (personal) or injury always causes us to draw upon our ability to gain balance in our lives. If we carry on our lives with good health habits, exercise, mental activity and spiritual rejuvenation we will have a better chance of dealing with the unexpected and unwanted stress. Michelle, You are absolutely correct. With a plan you can become aware and adapt to crisis as they occur. Your plan should be revisited on a regular basis and know that it will never be 100%. It lends itself to comfort know you may have a plan that can deal with some of the issues but probably not all of them. You will adapt as necessary. Dr. Gary Carlson
