Chris, humor can be a great approach if you have built rapport with that student. Helping the student to see what’s in it for them is also a great approach but it might be better to point out your amazing programs and beautiful facilities. Something to think about - conversations about financial aid are best to be discussed within the Financial Aid department. Dr. Jean Norris
Leon, thanks for sharing this. It sounds like you have a plan to move forward. I would be interested to hear how the modeling and mirror skills are working with your students. Keep us posted. Dr. Jean Norris
Leon, thanks for sharing your thoughts here. I wonder, what has been your experience with a student that doesn't follow your modeled approached? Dr. Jean Norris
Gregory, I couldn't agree more. I'm curious, what can you do personally to help get that positive message out there? Dr. Jean Norris

Sandra, thanks for sharing this tip. It looks like your school has a process regarding followup with the students. I'm curious, what has been the response from the students when they receive these letters? Dr. Jean Norris
Tina, it sounds like you have a new plan moving forward. I would be interested in hearing how your new approach works out. Dr. Jean Norris
Tina, that is a great point. It sounds like you prefer to partner with the student, but ultimately, they are the ones that need to come up with the solution that works best for them. Dr. Jean Norris
