Michael, Thank you for this post. I like believe each class meeting gives us a chance to make a new "first impression" for that day. The opening few minutes of each class meeting should be well planned in order to set the atmosphere for learning. Jeffrey Schillinger
Robert, Sometimes career college students are a bit fragile when it comes to confidence in their ability to add school to their already full lives. They stand a much better chance of success when everyone in the school, from admissions to career services, has student success as their primary goal. Jeffrey Schillinger

Herman, It is interesting how often people who take this course list a parent as a mentor. (I named my dad when I took the course several years ago.)
