AT first day I have the students tell me what their weakness is . We can all say what we are great at but everyone has trouble saying their weakness. This way, you can identify everything all at once.

i believe between the instructors and councilors most students have avenues in which to deal with stress I think having an open door policy where a student can come in and discuss most anything is a benefit to the student I also believe that most students are capable of making the right decision once they talk it out
Remind your students of there career goals and keep the course you teach interesting and motivation will followe.

The concern we have on campus is attendance students must not be ignored. attending the first day is very important. due to certant amount of hours missed is a failing grade.
Explain task at hand completely in class head out to lab an phsicaly perform the hands on task.
You only get to make a first impression once. Your relationship with your students develops very quickly and a poor first impression can lead to a student becoming de-motivated. It is the responsibility of the teacher to make sure that he/she is prepared right from the first moment.

I am directly responsible for setting up the classrooms under my range of influence. To properly prepare a class room, you must lay out tool boxes neatly within a designated work area. I must prepare a system for keeping expendable items stocked, and make sure appropriate training aids are in place. Lastly the classroom must be laid out comfortably as well as aesthetcally pleasing Reply
