Victoria, Students today have many learning styles and videos are a great tool. The students who learn best through hearing (aurally) can find virtual learning useful if there are video clips, virtual lectures, and video conferences because listening and speaking are important for auditory learners. Good luck preparing students for clinicals. Antoine Lewis

harold, The internet expands the resources available and lowers the time dependencies that can be limiting factors in schools. It offers powerful and varied ways for students and teachers to interact. The internet is not an approach to education, but rather a tool like you mentioned that can be used with almost any educational theory. Antoine Lewis

Kathy, Many student and faculty have become tired of powerpoint but in all a presentation succeeds or fails on the strength of the message and how well it's delivered to the audience. I feel it is a great tool but we must be careful as to how often we use it and defer to group discussion or have the students present to each other. Antoine Lewis
