vicki, I agree with you. They are our best source of referrals. They know what is going on, how they like the school, etc. so if they are excited they will in turn let others know. Kathie Dherit
Brandon, Being prepared with the information, the correct information is important. Kathie Dherit
Lucinda, Right, you can't be wishy-washy. Saying one thing and then changing it when you say it again. Consistency of information will definitely help to build that trust. Kathie Dherit
Joseph, Exactly. Like I said before, while we may be extremely excited about sharing a success story about the student, they might not want us to. It's just better to get the approval (and in writing) before doing so. And also making sure you get the okay from the company they are working at too! Kathie Dherit

Tamie, And hope that excitement will trickle down to the students who have been in school for a few terms. Keep them excited throughout the program so that they are prepared for the industry. Kathie Dherit
Judd , YTI's reputation should be enough to get perspective students to inquire about the school. If we continue to do the right thing, we will have a postive impact in the community. Kathie Dherit

Richard, Testimonials are only a part of the way we advertise. Making sure we don't advertise in the help wanted section of any newspaper or on job websites. Even advertising in the unemployment or welfare departments is not compliant. Kathie Dherit

Richard, The Standards of Responsible Conduct and Transparency was created to give prospective students a means of identifying those schools they can trust. YTI is a part of that. An according to the compliance modules being a part of the Foundation for Educational Success means we have high standards in which we should adhere to everyday. Kathie Dherit
Jessica, Right and all of those things (professional, on-time, and doing the right thing) should be the norm. When it is the norm, then our students will expect them and uphold that in their careers. Kathie Dherit

David, You are right, it does affect more than just you and what you did. It comes down to affecting the student. I know everyone wants to state how great the school is and the experience they will have. But you need to make sure you are truthful in what you state to them. Make sure it's documented.
