Ken, Misinterpretation is correct. If we say the wrong thing, it could mislead someone into make a decision. That would be substantional misrepresentation.... Kathie Dherit

Cindy, You are correct, if it isn't documented, it didn't happen! Kathie Dherit

Stephen, Being honest and telling the truth is key. That person may not like what you have to say when you tell the truth, but in the long run will be thankful that you made them aware. If you don't know the answer, it IS ok to tell them you don't know, but will try to find out the answer. If you are up front and honest, the word of mouth advertising that that person will do will go far! Kathie Dherit
John, I really like your answer. Compliance is just that rules and regulations. If you follow the rules, you won't get in trouble! Kathie Dherit

John, Great answer! You've got the right idea of what might happen when we ask a current student to give a testimonial. In reality we don't want our students to feel that way about our school, but it may happen! Kathie Dherit

Natalie, As a school we understand the time and the family sacrifices each student must commit to in order for them be successful in the career path they have chosen. When we give them the accurate information to base their decision on that is part of our value premise. You are right, it is a trickle down effect. Kathie Dherit

Natalie, You are right. We couldn't ask current students about their time at the school, because they haven't completed their schooling. Having graduates give testimonials of their time at YTI is better because they've been through the schooling, graduated and are out working the field! Kathie Dherit
Louise, Transparency=trust. As stated in the compliance modules, transparency builds trust and trust, along with high standards, is a competitive advantage. We as a company need to trust and believe in our Mission, so in turn, we can pass that onto our students. You are correct, the Department of Education can do everything that is stated above. The state and accrediting agencies, can revoke our license, or accreditation. In the state of PA, you must be licensed to operate as a school. We would have to close the doors... Kathie Dherit
