Jingles! We all know that they get stuck in our heads. What a great way to help people remember steps!

I love that these ideas incorporate all different learning styles. Theyve given me some great ideas, and I will try to adapt some to online learning.

I really liked the mystery word idea. It rewards concentration and stimulates problem solving.

I would love to use these, but as I am teaching an online course, I will need to modify. I think the idea of "throwing the ball" is a great idea to summarize the lesson of the day

The memory/emotion connection is very important. Information is better retained when there is a positive (or negative) feeling to go along with it.

I've reflected on which instructors motivated me. How they got me excited. I would like to model that for my students

I really like the idea of REFOCUS

Greeting each student at the begining of class.

Learning your students motivation to learn, helps shape your teaching style and meet the student's needs

Sticking to 10-15 minute size increments
