It is always good to practice the seven principles. By providing prompt feedback the students can correct their mistake and do better in the course quicker than with feedback taking longer. 

Make sure students can use the technology needed for the class. Check for students understanding on the type of technology skills that will be needed. 

Communication is important and using your own work and not copying or rewording other people's work. 

Management is a key as everything should be spelled out clearly in the syllabus.

A rubric is a great tool for being constant with grading student work. 

You must set your expectations for communication from the beginning of the course.

Encouraging students and communicating with them is important. How to implement synchronous and asynchronous with online classes. 

When students know more about you they feel the personal touch to your class. It will build trust between the teacher and the student.

 

In order for students to succeed in the e-learning process, the class must have structure. Orientation is a must with virtual learning for both students and teachers. As a teacher, you must interact with your students online just as you would if they were face to face. Orientation can clarify most questions students might have.
