Nannette, It's great to be able to take a break every now and then, to reorient and to recharge. Instructors often find that they are better at their jobs when they take a step away every once and a while. Dr. Melissa Read
Nannette, It's amazing how powerful it can be to simply write your tasks down on paper, and to prioritize important tasks. We often accomplish so much more with this simple method. It's also great to be able to get tasks down on paper and out of our minds. Really can clear our heads. Dr. Melissa Read
Rodrigo, So glad to hear you have a good routine for dealing with stress. Yes, tennis is such a great way to relax and unwind. I love the way you are using this sport as a social outlet as well. Dr. Melissa Read
Gwendolyn, Excellent to hear and a great plan too. When we are transparent with others, we clearly communicate our needs. This can put them in a better position to help us. I also like how you mentioned feeling good both inside and out. It's so important to balance both. Dr. Melissa Read
Sheila, Love the idea of mini tasks and I use this method in my own life too. It's nice to be able to knock things out. Really gives you a sense of accomplishment and helps you see how you're making progress. Note, you can break bigger tasks into smaller mini tasks if the larger tasks feel daunting. Dr. Melissa Read
Chris, Procrastination does almost always leads to stress. It's best to get a jump start on important tasks before they pile up. Dr. Melissa Read
Rodrigo, Yes, multiple question and answer formats do give us a broad range of feedback on student comprehension. It's nice to mix up formats in testing for final exams and throughout the semester. Dr. Melissa Read
