Kimberly, Sounds like you are working for a well organized and efficient administration. At the same time, even in these contexts, there are always opportunities. I'm glad you still have your eye on these and are considering additional ways of optimizing your approach. Dr. Melissa Read
Monique, A new year is a great time to make some changes. Sounds like you have a few in mind. You are right. When you don't make time for you, you really are doing yourself and others an injustice. It's important to focus on you every now and again, to rest and to recharge. Dr. Melissa Read

Monique, Sounds like this is an important process for you. Keep it up. Getting rid of stressors can can be eliminated is a great first step. Gives you long term stress relief. Then work those that can be reduced and / or managed more efficiently. Dr. Melissa Read
Jason, I like this approach. Breaking down larger tasks into smaller ones makes them feel so much less daunting. It's also great to feel a sense of accomplishment when completing pieces of tasks. Dr. Melissa Read

Shawn, Interesting observation and very true. Logistics can make us or break us, especially in technical training. Where possible, I recommend building a close relationship with AV support. If and when they are available, they can be great partners. Dr. Melissa Read
Tom, Sounds like you have some great coping mechanisms in place. Great work! Walking and breathing work well because they can happen anywhere. Walking turns out to be great for the metabolism too. Some believe it's better than running when it comes to getting in shape. Dr. Melissa Read
Lindsey, It's ok to cross off a few easy items on the list as confidence builders. But ultimately, you've got to start chipping away at the difficult stuff. My recommendation is to break difficult tasks up into pieces and chip away at those pieces. This makes tasks a little less daunting. Dr. Melissa Read
Annabel, Yes, I believe you are right. The new year is a great time to get started with a new routine. Your plans sound ambitious and it sounds like you have a lot on your plate. I recommend starting small with a little exercise a few times a week. When you get into a routine, you can increase this a little over time and work your way up. Dr. Melissa Read
Susan, Glad to hear you are so active. I imagine this routine helps you tremendously! Dr. Melissa Read
Shenita, Great idea and I have used this method with success. Having a single answer sheet can also help when you are transporting exams home and back to school to grade. Things are a lot easier when you have a lighter load to carry! Dr. Melissa Read
