Great point Joan! Some techniques work well for higher level students but not lower level ones. We've got to modify our approaches to work with each unique kind of student.
Joan, It's important to do what works for you. If you've got a system in place that's already working great, keep it up!
Sounds like a great combination Jeb! Low impact, relaxing and energizing all in one!
Sounds like a great approach Wendy. It's important to focus on the big picture and what really matters. Taking deep breaths is a great method and something you can do anywhere. Walking is wonderful too!
Good idea Anthony. Sometimes it is best to take a step back and take a look at the big picture. Writing things down is a great way to take yourself through that process.
It's great to stay a few nights ahead Jong, really makes a difference if you can keep it up. It's also great to leverage materials you used in previous semesters when you get tenured enough.
Yes, sometimes a little immediacy is helpful and I agree with your approach in this case Steven. Tasks can be harder, in some cases, when we let too much time pass.
I agree Monte. Exercise is a requirement to a healthy life. It's in many ways non optional. Sometimes instructors lose track and stop exercising. You're not alone. Get back in the game, even just a few days a week, and see how good you feel.
Very true Michael. Just having the list next to you is absolutely a reminder that you need to get things done. Sometimes visual reminders work better than mental notes.

Indeed and glad to hear you say this Craig. It's so important to focus on you every now and then. When you put yourself first from time to time, you'll be better at helping others when they really need you.
