Jared, Interesting approach. Some instructors turn their hobby into a full time job. This sometimes diminishes their interest and enjoyment in the hobby. I like your approach of keeping the work you love as a great outlet but not something mandatory that you have to do. Dr. Melissa Read

Sean, I like your thinking and you end your post with a great quote too. Communication and connection is truly the key. When we reach out to others, we set their expectations and can also get the support we need. Dr. Melissa Read
William, Yes, great to know! Sometimes we become more efficient and streamline our initiatives without even thinking about it. For some of us, it's just an automatic process and it comes naturally. We are the lucky ones. Dr. Melissa Read
Karis, Yes, it's always good to have a healthy respect for who you are and how you like to get things done. For many of us, the best style is our own. Dr. Melissa Read
Daniel, Good point. There can be breakdowns in even the most efficient of systems. It's critical to not just setup process, but also to communicate how it can work most efficiently with those involved. Dr. Melissa Read
Philippe, Excellent. Sounds like you are at the tail end of a major project. Sometimes these can be very stressful and it's good when we can see a light at the end of the tunnel. Dr. Melissa Read
Marie-Anne, Sounds like you've done an honest assessment of yourself. Note that it's ok to procrastinate every now and then if tasks are non urgent and can wait until tomorrow. Dr. Melissa Read
Linda, Sounds like you are on top of things. At the same time, I can understand if you might occasionally experience challenges with immediacy. Sometimes, for non urgent tasks, it's ok to put them off until tomorrow. Dr. Melissa Read
Robert, I like the way you have digitized some of your organization methods. I have to say that Google Tasks, and other tools like it, can be powerful in education when we learn how to leverage them. End of day or beginning of day list review is often critical to success. Lists should be more than just parking lots for items we need to get done, but instead living, breathing tools that we reference often. Dr. Melissa Read

Philippe, Balancing work and home stress can be tough. It's hard because it often feels like you have no place of refuge. You might be someone who just needs to get away. If you can find time to take even a day off, might be worth it. Dr. Melissa Read
