I learned that it is important to select the correct technology tool and that while a tool may have many components, the instructor does not have use them all. Also learned that formative and summative assessment of the tools are necessary to improve communication throughout the course.

I learned of the importance of being organized and maintaining the module structure to decrease student distraction from the actual course material.

As a facilitator it is essential to provide timely feedback to students. It is also improtnat to promote student engagement to ultimately increase learning.

Establishing clear and succinct information and directions for students is key in student success.

It is necessary to identify one's teaching style and then select the correct technology tools accordingly.

To properly/effectively revise the course one must obtain qualitative and quantitative data from a variety of sources and methods.

Providing timely and positive feedback helps students improve learning. Implementing peer assessment helps students learn how to assess their peers' work and provide constructive criticism.

The importance of scaffolding to help students learn new concepts and assimilate the course learning objectives.

The importance of being consistant throughout every module is clearly highlighted. 

This section provided valuable information on how to address different types of students in an online setting. It also provided useful information about records management which are critical for online courses.
