Jeffrey, Yes, on EVERYTHING. How do you tell them to do that? Renee Shaffer
Lawrence, Great. I love to use the Socratic technique though sometimes students complain that they "aren't being taught anything". Then I need to explain..... Renee Shaffer
Jeffrey, So true. I am glad that you are there to teach that to your students! Renee Shaffer
Erina , It is great to hear that your mixture of students works so well together! Renee Shaffer
Dr. Christopher, Good points. Remember all of this takes additional time so plan on that. Renee Shaffer

Stephanie, In regards to students just stopping in the middle of the class and never being heard from again, my experience is that they usually have PTSD or depression so bad that they can't function. By making the contact ahead of time and throughout the semester, we may be able to deter their inability to communicate with us when they have an episode. Reach out to them! Renee Shaffer

Dr. Christopher, I have heard about programs that used a template for the design standards so that all of the courses have the same look and feel. Good to see that it works. Renee Shaffer
Loretta, This is so true. We really need our institutions to get involved in copyright issues and at the very least have policies and procedures in place. Renee Shaffer

Andrew, I love the statement that instructors need to model proper procedure. This helps students learn and become good stewards of knowledge and become information literate. Renee Shaffer
