Cyndy, Yes,the time management is such an important consideration. I was teaching only last night and a student said (when I handed out materials and homework) "this is like I am back in school". I didn't quite know what to say and questioned him and he stated that he didn't realize that there was going to be work involved. :( Renee Shaffer

Online Student Mentality

Cyndy, I am so happy to hear this from you! I keep getting feedback from instructors whose returning students are not having any problems and understand, use all of the technological advances. This is NOT my experience. I love your ideas. Having the children and grandchildren help out also provides bonding opportunities and a life long love of learning for all. Renee Shaffer
