Vivian , Yes, it is a great idea to know who your students are and what their strengths and weaknesses are. Great idea. Renee Shaffer

Vivian , I have tried it multiple times for many years now. I (being "old") have found it convenient and positive but it is now becoming "passe" for the younger students. At least that is the feedback that I have gotten in the past year. They seem to want less in depth interaction but something that is quicker like a text message. Thanks for being in this class. Vivian , Quite the variety of students. That would be my experience also with students who just want to do the very least possible in order to "complete" the course. Renee Shaffer
LaShanta , By the looks of all this, you must be a terrific instructor. Keep up the good work enhancing the learning of your students. Renee Shaffer
Fonzette, Oh, I like the idea of having them ask things in a logical order. Very nice! Renee Shaffer

Fonzette, Great variety of resources and interaction possibilities. Renee Shaffer
Fonzette, One of the main issues of student-centered learning is that the student has to be interested in actually being in the class. I think that we all know students who are "just there" and do not really like the subject, want to be there, etc. Those students are problematic to the student centered learning but I am afraid that we just have to deal with them. LaShanta , So true. Thanks for being in the class. Renee Shaffer
LaShanta , So many students have been brought you however to just sit there and "absorb" information. so, we have to initiate them into a new way of learning. Renee Shaffer
LaShanta , Yes, many times the students are just looking for the instructor to do everything. They need encouragement to branch out themselves! Renee Shaffer
