make your plan give it a shot see how it goes have back up ready to run go over plan A and  adjust it as needed find a way to make it more relateable

If you overload them in a crowed powerpoint you stand the chance of losing or overlooking what you want them to grasp be careful what you use and how you do it

Be early ,be prepared ,connect with your students, be approachable,everyone learns differently, find the 'sweet spot' and get your students attention there is always  a way to find the hookup to their minds whether it's in a class or in the field and sometimes in the field works better when you see it in action

Know your students find each ones motivation work with them and show them you do know your subject and you are an expert at it without being a know it all everyone learns at their own rate and they will get a good foundation in their chosen career above all know your limitations and instill enthusiasm to learn in their own way not everyone learns like I did be willing to work with them without being overbearing or pompous in your field

Reignite the fire for learning the subject by real life experiences that I have encountered and how I resolved them then ask for feedback on what they think about my solution you'll learn from them and yourself nobody is to old to learn something new

Everybody learns differently what my objective is is to find what gets my students excited and really want to learn without making it boring with a lot of 'hands on' time learning how things really work in the field and I empathize that there are no stupid questions just a quest for more information to help them understand and I thourghly understand because I have been in my particular field for 40 years better to ask the question than get hurt and let them know that I really care and want them to advance

the need to help peolple lead a productive life and working around the conditions that inhibit their learning abilities without singling them out and making them a productive member of society with a job that they can make a living and be proud of their accomplishments

Remember the 5 c's everyone does not learn like you do even a student who is learning can teach you something be sharp be consise because you are there to teach them there is always a way to reach them you just have to find it
