Melanie , Journaling (blogging) is a great way to help students work through a process - Wikis help them work together to "build" a project or writing piece. I concur that it is difficult to help students work through the writing process as they often want to "jump" to the end and simply produce something - thus losing out on the richness of the journey. Terri, Interactive white boards can be used both synchronously and asynchronously - on a fully online course this can be achieved as well...virtually. Now with phone apps, some of the capture and distribution can be achieved - but within a f2f environment, the interactive white board brings an enhanced interaction and collaboration. Michael, Great points! This is why we, as instructors, must find ways to integrate technology use in our instructional designs and deliveries rather than trying to keep technology use "controlled" or prescribed. Dr. Ruth Reynard
