Activity

Lori-- Sounds like you really have the students best interest at heart. Good job! Susan
Lori-- This sounds like a great practice. I am sure that both you (the school) and the student have a much better understanding of each other by the time they sit in the classroom. Susan
Carmen-- It certainly sounds like you do everything possible to help them be successful. Great job! Susan
Evan-- As a recovering 'mathphobic' I appreciate that you try to make it both educational and enjoyable. Hands-on and practical math exercises help immensely. If they can easily see how they might use it outside of the class, it makes it much more enjoyable. Great job. Susan
Jeff-- That is great to hear. Coordinating this information can make a big difference for students and ensure a smooth hand off. Susan
Bobbi-- Introducting sstudents to their instructors is an excellent practice. I am sure it makes a big difference for your students. It certainly sounds like you do great things to ensure your students are prepared and their barriers addressed. Congratulations! Susan
Bobbi-- I really like that you have made a point to include traditional on non-traditional students in your ambassador group. Do you have separate orientations? Some schools do that as they can have very different questions, etc. Susan
Diane-- It sounds like they are very energetic! Great job on also including alumni. That's a wonderful addition. I also really like showing the graduation ceremonies. Nice touch! Susan
David-- This is wonderful and it certainly sounds like you use your time with the new students to build rapport and give them needed information. Great job. Susan
Jeff-- This sounds great! I know it is difficult to get all faculty to attend, but having the people the new students will be interacting with the first session is ideal. Susan
