Jessica, Love the quote. And, it could have been written this decade and not so long ago. Thanks for your input.

Carla, Good point. I had a student post just this week on the FAQ Discussion Board, "Are my assignments submitting? I'm afraid that they are not submitting and then I won't know!" So, I explained how he could look to see where/when his assignments submitted. Thanks for bringing this up.
Donald, So glad you added boundaries to this conversation. We have to have those boundaries. We should not be 24/7 instructors. Good point.
Carla, Being consistent many times does include that availability and being consistent in anything helps develop a pattern. Thanks!
Jessica, Great list. If the communication tool is not easy to use, why use it - that may be what the students will be asking themselves as well. We live and learn as we teach and we do have to find that tool that meets our and our students needs. Thanks!
Aleksandra, Comprehensive is a good word to describe it. We want a comprehensive evaluation and many times that takes getting feedback from several people/groups. Thanks!
Stephanie, Yes, I agree. That loop seems to go on and on and on. ;-) Getting a variety of feedback from others helps us see our class from different perspectives. Thanks!
Aleksandra, The list you have provided will help motivate students and help them work toward achieving the learning outcomes. Nice job.
Dianne, Developing meaningful feedback is so important to help motivate students and to help them move toward the learning objectives. Thanks for your list.
Stephanie, Can you give an example of "matching" the type of assignment? Thanks!
