The transition from a k-12 environment to a post secondary online environment will be a tough one for a person with a disability.

Having taught students with disabilities F2F I can imaging how difficult it would be to teach them online.

I will be investigating some of the metarubrics online.

A good Rubric will make grading easier and provide students with helpful feedback

Rubrics provide for consistant grading.

Students need the rubric as much as the instructors.

Effective time management is super important. 

As a CNT instructor most of my students have a good basic knowledge of computers.

Communication online increases in importance as you lose things like body language when online. In my F2F classroom I could see if a student was having a hard time. Being online the student must be comfortable with reaching out.

Time management is probably the hardest for new students to the online environment.
