Wania, PowerPoint presentations are a great way to address multiple learning styles and improve audience focus. Here is a link to some effective tips when using PowerPoint presented by the University of Central Florida's Faculty Center. http://www.fctl.ucf.edu/teachingandlearningresources/Technology/PowerPoint/index.php Wishing you continued success in the classroom. Rose, I wholeheartedly agree! I am constantly mixing things up, shifting from one exercise to another with busts of lecture in between. This helps keep the class moving and injects some energy into the lesson. I never go for more than an hour without a short break, I find that helps keep students engaged. Wishing you continued success in the classroom. Theresa Schmitt

Peggy, SlideShare is great because it is accessible via smart phone so students can review class material from nearly anywhere as long as they have a wifi connection. Yours in learning, Theresa Schmitt
Peggy, I found this article that may be of some help. Perhaps teaching your students how to use software that tracks appointments or offering a course in basic web design in order to promote services may be the way to go: http://collegeofmassage.com/toronto/2013/04/5-technologies-that-are-enhancing-massage-practices/ Wishing you continued success in the classroom. Raina, I had so much fun learning Prezi- I also made the switch last year. For those who have not tried it, I suggest starting small by converting one existing PowerPoint. Here is a link to a great tutorial on how to import and PowerPoint so you are not starting from scratch: https://prezi.com/support/manual/ppt-import-tutorial/ Wishing you continued success in the classroom. Raina, That is fantastic! I find faculty who share ideas and resources make for a strong team. Wishing you continued success in the classroom. Theresa Schmitt
Ian, I am happy to read you are finding this course informative! Forums and blogs are a fantastic way to read about trends and new technologies, often times, weeks before articles are published in trade magazines. Have you tried Twitter as well? you may find the feeds of some notable specialists in your field quite interesting. Yours in learning, Theresa Schmitt
Thomas, You may want to approach this topic with your Department Chair or the Director of Education. Cengage and Pearson do offer online testing options that come packaged with a very robust analytics that has the ability to assess each students strength and weakness, as well as that of the entire class. You can also compare class sections and ascertain specific topics students are struggling with overall. These tools are not free, and are part of a subscription purchased by the institution. Wishing you continued success in the classroom. Theresa Schmitt
Harpreet, i see you are taking advantage of several of the tools out there that assist with 21st century teaching and learning! I myself have not used Panopto, but I have read great things about it. Do you personally use the online video editing tool? If so, do you find it user friendly for inexperienced editors? Yours in learning, Theresa Schmitt
