Class prep
Just taking one extra step. Makes a big diffrence in keepin the class in order.

i believe that class prep is very important because it helps the class operations run smoothly. It also sets an example for the class and lets them know they they must be prepared as well. I firmly believe that students learn by the examples set forth.

class preparation is extremely important because it gives the student confidence in the instructor as far as knowing the class content,being responsible for work just as the student is expected to be responsible for work, and allowing the class to flow much smoother. Class preparation is also important because it schedules time properly for the class. As a rule, I've found that students appreciate as much information as they can get because they then feel they are getting what they paid for , and begin to get a feeling of confidence in their field because of their acquired new knowledge.

Take the time to really think of how the best way would be to present the lesson or subject. I have found that by spending the extra time in preparation, I have come up with better and more interesting ways to convey the subject to the students. When you take the time, the ideas will start to flow.

Preparation is basic to what responsible and accountable teachers must ascibe to. You're right, students can lose respect for unprepared teachers.

To me class prep is very important, because it gives you time to think and how you are going to run the class and lecture. Also if the students do not see you prepared then they think they could do it as well, come to class unprepared...

Class preparation is for the teacher as much as for the stuednts. I feel ready, comfortable, confident, and energised when I have adequately prepared for class.
