Being in the automotive industry, I find that planning field trips to dealerships or assembly plants very beneficial to students. It also gives the employers a chance to see our quality of future employee.

That's true. I know I remember way back (1970) when I was a career student I went on two field trips I still remember. I rember I felt priviledged I was allowed access to these wonder destinations.

What a great opportunity for your students. So applicable and interesting. It's great too that there are probbaly many potential sites so that one dealership gets bombarded with requests for field trips all the time.
