You must be completely prepared, if you are prepared with the lecture, you will be organized enought to go throught with your class.

Personal time management strategies may include breaking the prep into small bits, a little at a time. Using existing materials, past PPT's or lectures is helpful. Getting copies anad handouts ready a week in advance can save time. Trying to always be at least two days ahead with all information for a class creates less stress overall.

In your own experience what would be the top 2 tme saving suggestions that you might have for preping for teaching a class that? I find that I am well prepared for classes and have good experiences teaching, but the prep work takes what I would consider to be too much time (I do teach 4 hour long classes).

Yes, and students appreciate it when the teacher is ready to go through the required material in an organized fashion, without having to fumble through papers, making last minute copies, or appearing harried.
