When you look back it is easy to see who were the prepared teachers and who were not in ones past. Another great comparison is the difference in what you learned in each situation

Yes, we have to be the role models, and to show that even the instructors have their share of work to do. Good students will appreciate this time and effort towards preparation.

A prepared instructor also sets the standard, for which the student can follow and see what might be a clearer path for them to set for their goals

Competentence and confidence are effectively displayed when preceded by ample preparation, and conducted in an organized fashio. You're right, students will appreciate the preparation, and notice if the teacher is less than fully prepared.

A prepared instructor comes across in the lecture or demonstrations and the students can tell if you have prpared or not.

Students want guidance and direction. It's our job to provide clarity and focus tos assist in the students quest for learning.

I agree that organization is imperative. If we are disorganized with our content delivery, our students will be confused and their performance will suffer as a result.

Yes, we all have probably had instructors who stood out, as either awesome or awful. Undoubtedly, some of the least desirable characteristics of the weaker instructors could probably be attributed to poor organization.
