Observe other instructors
How would you present taking work time to observe other teaching styles, I would consider this cross training.

I believe we can always learn something new, and class observation is one terrific way to gain new approaches.

Yes, I don't use someone else's style, but I do observe them and incorporate new things into my own style. I pick and choose from their styles what I can put into my own.

Everyone has something new and different to offer. Even after many, many years, I am impressed with what I receive when I audit other instructors classes.

I think this is a great suggestion. I am working with an experienced instructor, but as a first-time teacher I think it will be useful to see multiple instructors styles for learning purposes.

This is a wonderful idea, and I think it would be supported by most institutions and supervisors. The amount of time and frequency may be limited but any amount is very useful.
