Personality of the Instructor
I liked the way you broke down the types of personality of instructors. I could see where I "fit" into several types and where I could improve or work on strengtening areas where I needed it. Thanks, Dale
This was very helpful for me to see where I am as an instructor and to understand how I can improve upon myself. It also helps me see where my former instructors and current co-workers are so I can see what I found effective and what the students see effective and how I can adapt and improve.
I believe the personality of instructors carry a lot of weight with students. i have noticed that my students can tell when I don't feel well or having a bad. They tell me that i am not wearing my happy face, because they say i smile all the time. My students however, are aware that just because I smile or appear to be happy most time, this does not allow them to think i am weak or not paying attention to them. They know that i am a no non sense instructor, but still we have fun.
