Powerpoint Presentations
I absolutely agreed. Power points presentations are a great media to delivery instructional content to the class. I use at the daily basis.

For me, I like to combine PPT with active white board use too. Terminology, definitions, illustrations, concepts - these all add to the discussion along with the PPT slides. I have a slide advancer that allows me to have the screen go black, and that gives me a chance to quickly move from PPT slide to whiteboard...back and forth... as often as needed, and for as long as needed.

I use PowerPoint presentation every day when I have to do lecture, but sometimes I feel the students are tired so although I include good pictures in PowerPoint, I start to draw pictures on the board to get the students attention.

Yeah, PPT can a bit overwhelming if done all the time as a steady diet. We've got to mix it up, add variety, and involve students in multiple activities.
