processing uniqueness
by identifying the processing levels of your students it is absolutely necessary that you understand their way of learning IE auditory, visual, and kinesthetic
Hi Shantanu:
I think it's cool when a lesson is "active" in that many appraches are introduced and used. Some lessons lend themselves to this more tha others, yest it's still a worthy effort to encorporate as much as possible.

Hi Stephen:
I believe all students learn by all three methods, although one or more may be dominant. Assessing learning can be helpful to a degree. In my experience, the type of test given and the degree to which the student answers the questions honestly is key to accurately defining learning style.

I agree, and to extend this further - the instructor needs to tailor their approach such that as many of these student learning classifications as possible are incorporated in lecture.
