Anticipating problems

Students and Instructors need to have several opinions for their teaching objectives. Students all learn in a different way. Problems and issues arise all the time. An Instructor has to be fexible while still teaching what is required for the class. Daily objectives are subject to change.

I agree . One should lead by example

Hi John:
Preparation is a great savior in these instances too. Clearly, there is no substitutue for being a SME in both word and deed. (subject matter expert).

Not only does it help you quickly shift gears if something is not working, I think flexibility makes for a more dynamic presentation all around. I always learned better from an instructor that you could tell knew the material so well that he/she could teach it through a different method without notice.
