Classroom time....

I have found that with a program like ours that is strictly layed out we may have days where we run through the information or do the activities too fast. This tends to leave us in a lull of time. I think that the tips that were given were beneficial in helping reduce the lull. As well as giving me additional ideas to keep my students on track for that information we just learned.

It is quite the opposite in my school; the curriculum tends to out weight the timelines and sometimes the difficulty lies in running behind the clock. It is important that the students understand very early their management of time and me not allowing for getting behind it.

I agree! I like the idea of breaking the students into smaller groups to assimilate what they are learning is s great idea. It also helps to get their classmates feedback so perhaps they can look at what they are learning from another angle.
