Compromise
One of the more challenging concepts in the classroom for me is tailoring information that makes it easier for the students to grasp but does not compromise the integrity of the career field. When moving across different courses and concepts this can be difficult, especially when looking for a new way to provide the information and keep it relevant.

I think students operate on expectations. So whatever we lay out for them, that's where there goal will be. This really provides an opportunity to set the bar high.

This is very true, one should sometimes reach a little higher.

One way to also look at this is to set the bar high and strive to meet that. If the bar is set too low, students will set their expectations low as well.
