Time management
If I finish quicker, I would questioning some of my students from the subject that I thought...and that way students will always focused more in the subject of the day, In case if I asking them question.
I fell I have finely tuned my time managing issues now only if I could find a way to get my students to roll this into there curriculum that would be amazing
I have open discussion on what we just learned. I let the students give insight and experiencing so that I know they got the understanding of each topic.
If I finish earlier than I expected it makes me wonder if the students were engaged in the lesson. Usually I finish early when there are no or limited questions!
Time is the essence , so they say, and yes it is better to complete the lesson a little bit earlier than cramming at the end just to finish.
As you said , this will allow the instructor to go over the lecture and make a summary and even review certain important points to the students.
