Objectives
Letting the students know what you will be doing and how it will apply to what they are learning is the first thing that I go over
I agree, objective are important, because it lets the students know what they have to look forward to.
by not having objectives there is no direction or meaning of the course
I agree James! It is vital that we do that also and with welding it has to be done in a definate way! it is complicated if you don't go over the basics.
Gives student a great outlook on what will be going on in class in days to come.
Setting learning objectives are the key to a sucessful course...
I always explain to the students how i run the class and how i teach. I explain that, the more they put into it the better they will be.
