writing objectives
To me this seems to be the hardest component to creating lesion plans. In writing solid objectives I have the habit of attempting to include way too many objectives into a single objective. Objectives should remain clear, concise and understandable. Should you need to explain the objective to your students after they have read them, then it is too complex and needs simplification. having multiple learning objectives is better than having a short list.
i agree too the more simple and clear you write your Objectives the better your students can understand.
I agree, keep it simple but relivant. Need to have the student understand yet still wonder alittle. that makes them ask the question and you are able to further understand their passion or desire for the subject.
DJ,
This is an excellent point. In addition, complex learning objectives can make it difficult for instructors to provide assessments and course content for their students.
