understanding learning objectives

to be honest this is my first time learning anything about taxonomy of learning. This process of learning will a better understanding to lesson plan construction and preparations. Is knowing taxonomy of learning still relevant for today's learning?

The expression that you don't know where you are unless you know where you have been. Unless you know the taxonomy of the subject matter, you can't begin to creat or understand the learning objectives of the subject.

I think so. It helps you figure out what you need for the students to be able to do after the lesson. Do you need for them to be familiar with a topic or do you want them to know the ins and outs and how to apply the knowledge are a couple of the questions I ask myself when establishing a new lesson plan
