trying to help & teach people who are not even mechaniclly inclined is a burdon on the other students

Patience is the key. Students learn from each other. They will react to a struggling student based on how you react. Whether a student is having trouble learning a lab skill or understanding a lecture topic, I encourage my students to work as a team -- helping each other. This helps the struggling student, and reinforces the information for the other students.

I BELIEVE THAT CLASSES SHOULD BE SET UP MORE FOR THE IMCOMMING STUDENTS A.K.A. A CLASS OF MECHANICALLY INCLINED STUDENTS THEN A CLASS OF THOSE WHO HAVENT A CLUE THAT WAY THE COUSE CAN MORE MIMIC THIER NEEDS RATHER THAN A SET GOAL

I have to say that I agree this can be a challenge but we are an institute of learning and if people want to learn, they deserve as much attention as we can give them. I look at it as a challenge for myself to help this type of learner and think back when I couldn't even change a flat. We all have to start somewhere and a specialty school is a great place to start.
