Employer Grading
After attending Advisor Board meetings for many years, I have developed a teaching style based on employers feedback
For instance, grading hard on computer data entry including spelling and numerical entries. A 30-point mistake. The grade remains a seventy.
Technical skill error is a 50-point mistake. After the student and I go over the mistake, the grade is changed to an 80.
Hi Fred,
You are training individuals to enter into their career field and they have to meet those standards. As you train them to meet those standards they will realize that you are helping them to be successful by having high standards. Keep up the good work.
