Providing quality education to students and giving utmost motivation.
Education can be considered as an art of providing quality information to students with the expectation that everything they learned from the classroom environment can be applied in the outside world. An instructor should remember providing quality education and at the same time continuously motivate students to achieve their goals. Fulfilling this objectives makes an instructor a "champion" in his or her field. Providing quality education helps students in so many areas of their lives and by giving them high motivation their confidence level will go also at a high level.
Motivating students is one of an instructors most difficult challenges. Students do poorly for one or more of three reasons;1. material is not properly covered,2. tests/evaluations are not well written/developed,3. the student didn't try. The instructor has control over all 3, but the most challengins is # 3 because it is an individual to individual issue. I try to know my students well enough to find what motivates them. Do I always succeed...no, so it is something to work on.
