Developing as an Instructor
As an instructor we must lead by example. Our students are looking at us a role models and we must present ourselves in front of them as people who are professional and take our jobs serious and wanting them to become successful in their endeavors. By doing this, we must practice what we preach and lead our students to success.
Jenna,
This always makes me feel bad for the students. They should not have to suffer with an unprofessional instructor. All instructors are models and negative models do nothing to enhance the education of students other than to show the students that they don't want to be like those instructors.

I've professional instructors act unprofessionally in front of their students. It doesn't make the students like them - it makes them disrespect them as instructors.
We as Instructors we need to keep in mind that learning is the most important things going on in the classroom/laboratory, not teaching.
As an Instructor, I must exercise qualities and behavior that will set good example for my students. This can be accomplished by the use of proper language, vocabulary and appearance.
I agree. As individuals we have encountered many different situations and I believe these are the experiences, which will assist us in becoming successful as an instructor.
