Personal experience
I was an instructor previously for 3 years and am blessed to be now leading students again. I have learned that I always have more to learn. I learn about students and learning styles and conforming to a new way of doing things.
I enjoy learning from the students that I work with they teach me so much. I am honored to be working where I am teaching them and learning from them at the same time.
It is always a wonderful thing when we can open our selves to learning new information. I try to keep my mind open to this every day.

Right you are about students teaching us something new. This is one of the perks of our job. We get to work with people from all walks of life and backgrounds in a setting where we can help them move toward their career goals. In return they share their life experiences and we learn new things. A win win situation.

I agree that we are always learning from our students. That is the exciting part.
Not only is it great to learn new styles but if we are in tune to our students they will every once in awhile teach us something new and it will help to instruct others.
